On 20 September, we had the pleasure of taking part in the Festival dell’Ingegneria, organized by Politecnico di Milano: a free festival dedicated to the world of engineering.
Together with the Department of Physics, we hosted a room full of interactive activities for curious minds of all ages – including children!
Visitors could explore fluorescence using tonic water, discover the magic of stroboscopic light, and see our very own invisibility cloak in action. And, of course, we challenged them to build a functioning interferometer using nothing but LEGO! 🧱🔬
It was a lot of fun sharing science, experimenting, and seeing so much curiosity and enthusiasm from everyone who joined us.

We’re proud to have been part of such a wonderful event!
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and to all the people who helped make this event possible!
